The easiest option is Porto Airport (OPO), just 15 minutes from the flat.
There you’ll find all major rental companies and can easily compare prices.

  • From Porto Airport (15–20 min by car): Take the A28 motorway north (direction Viana do Castelo) and exit at Mindelo/Vila Chã. From there, it’s just a few minutes to Avenida dos Banhos.
  • From Porto city center (25–30 min by car): Same route via the A28.
  • By taxi/ride-share: Taxis, Uber, or Bolt are available from both the airport and Porto center. Expect to pay around €20–35.
  • By public transport: From Porto, take the metro (Line B – red, direction Póvoa de Varzim) from Trindade station and get off at Mindelo. From there, it’s a 5-minute taxi ride or a 30-minute walk to the flat.

Check-in from 3:00 PM, check-out by 11:00 AM.
If the schedule allows, we’re happy to be flexible.

Not essential. Vila Chã is walkable with beach, cafés, and restaurants close by,
but a car makes exploring the wider region easier.

Free street parking in front of the apartment on Avenida dos Banhos.
In summer it can get busy, so arriving earlier helps.

Beautiful apartment with a large terrace and sea view, exactly as pictured! Very practical furnishings, very comfortable beds, and a lovingly decorated atmosphere. The area is close to nature and authentically Portuguese, the beaches are gorgeous. Excellent communication with the friendly hosts, who kept providing us with helpful tips – thank you for that as well! We definitely want to come back, an absolute recommendation from us!!

Unlike many holiday apartments that are usually just ‘functional,’ this one is a dream! The apartment is completely new, high-quality, and extremely comfortable. Adriana has thought of everything when it comes to the furnishings, decorating the place with great care and taste. The absolute highlight is the terrace/balcony with its breathtaking view of the sea. The little village of Vila Chã is still authentic and not overrun by tourists. There are good restaurants nearby (we always ate excellent fish at Salitre), and the bakery is just around the corner (so fresh bread rolls for breakfast are always guaranteed). The Camino de Santiago passes right along the coast here, and you can walk for kilometers on a wooden boardwalk while enjoying the beautiful scenery! Adriana and her family gave us a very personal welcome, were always available, and took great care of us (they even sent us a WhatsApp warning once about high waves!).

We had a wonderful stay! The hostess is incredibly warm, attentive, and always helpful – you feel welcome from the very first moment. The apartment is beautiful and tastefully furnished. Everything is perfectly thought out, functional, and of high quality. We lacked absolutely nothing, and the cleanliness was outstanding. The location right by the sea in a charming little fishing village is simply idyllic. The Portuguese Camino passes directly in front of the apartment, leading to special encounters and a unique atmosphere in the village. Small cafés and a very good restaurant are just a few steps away. We also really enjoyed the proximity to Porto, as the city is exciting, vibrant, and absolutely impressive. A wholehearted recommendation for anyone who loves peace, nature, and the sea.

The apartment we stayed in was decorated with great care and taste. There is a feeling of well-being and "Just like home" perfect. Not to mention the view of the beach from the balcony which is superb at all times of the day.
